Bershawn Jackson, a gold medalist for the United States during his professional career at both the World Indoor and World Outdoor Championships, along with 15-year-old daughter Shawnti Jackson from North Carolina join DyeStat's Todd Grasley to discuss her memorable performances Feb. 7 at the American Track League event at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Shawnti Jackson, representing Run U Xpress, set sophomore class national indoor records in both the 60-meter dash and 200 meters, clocking 7.24 and 23.23 seconds, respectively, racing against professional athletes. She also achieved the World age 15 record in the 60 and ran the fastest time by an American age 15 competitor in the 200, along with the No. 2 all-time indoor mark for her age in the world.
